Delete your account

Last updated 22 September 2026

This page explains how to delete your hTrim account and the personal data linked to it. You do not need to be signed in to read this page or to make a request, and deletion is free.

How to request deletion

1. Email [email protected] from the email address registered on your hTrim account.
2. Use the subject "Account deletion request" and tell us the account's email address or mobile number.
3. We verify the request and begin deletion. We reply within 1 business day, and the deletion completes within 30 days of verification.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials (email, hashed password, linked social sign-ins).
• Your name, mobile number, gender, date of birth and profile photo.
• Your saved locations and device notification tokens.
• Your personal booking history, and the profiles of any dependants you manage (a child or family member whose bookings you arranged).

What we must keep, and for how long

Some records cannot be deleted immediately, because a salon or the law requires them:

• Salon business records. If you own or work at a salon, its operational records (bookings served, transactions, payroll, expenses and attendance) belong to the salon and are kept as its operating and accounting history.
• Reviews you posted publicly may remain, but they are no longer linked to your name once your account is deleted.
• Records we must retain by law, such as transaction records needed for tax and accounting, are kept only as long as the law requires and then deleted.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can also ask us to correct or remove individual pieces of data — a phone number, a profile photo, a dependant — without closing the account. Email [email protected] with what you would like removed.
